Notice of Qualifying
To the Qualifying Voters of the City of Bowdon, Georgia
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 4th day of November 2025 an election will be held in the regular polling place for the City of Bowdon. This site is the Bowdon Senior Citizens Center, 100 Barr Rd, Bowdon, GA.
This election will be for the following offices: City Council, Wards 1 and 4 - Qualifying Fee $43.20
Qualifying will take place in the office of the Bowdon City Clerk, City of Bowdon, 182 Grammar School Road, Bowdon, GA beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 and shall end on Friday, August 22, 2025 4:30 p.m.
All candidates offering for City Council must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, meet the requirements of a qualified voter of the city and have been a resident of the city for at least one year preceding the election in which he/she is a candidate and remain a resident of the ward for which he/she is elected for the remainder of the term of office.
The last day to register to vote in this election will be Monday, October 6, 2025.
