From the Mayor

Thank you for taking the time to view our website, and for your interest in the City of Bowdon!  We are a small town with a big heart!  There are just over 2,000 people who live within our city limits.   We are proud of our city, its citizens, businesses, and schools. Bowdon is located about 60 miles west of Atlanta, at the crossroads of Georgia Highways 166 & 100, 3 miles east of the Alabama state line, and approximately 10 miles south of Interstate 20. Bowdon is a city that is small in size and number, but rich in history and character!  Now that you have visited us via the web, we hope you will find time to visit us in person!
